Benchmarking: The first step on the road to wellness
You’ve heard it before: wellness starts with the first step. At Elevate, wellness starts by benchmarking this crucial first step. What does benchmarking mean exactly? Simply put, you can’t confidently know and believe in the direction you’re heading if you don’t know and intimately/innately understand where you currently are.

The Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) composition analyzer is a technology that will fully and completely track the progress of your unique health journey. BIA is the premier, award-winning technology used by health professionals and athletes globally to achieve optimal performance.
Going beyond Body Composition Analysis:
The InBody 570
IF YOU WANT TO FULLY AND COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND YOUR HEALTH, ADVANCED ANALYSIS IS ESSENTIAL.
Typical Body Composition Analysis breaks down your body into four components: fat, lean body mass, minerals and body water. The technology can accurately show changes in fat mass, muscle mass, body fat percentage and visceral fat.
The InBody 570 goes beyond the average Body Composition Analysis because it also measures both your body’s intracellular and extracellular water. The data collected will be used to create a personalized health plan tailored to your body’s specific and unique needs. All scans are unique to the individual.
When you download the InBody app you’ll be better able to keep track of your results and personal goals.
As soon as you get off my scale, you’ll get your results - instantly!

Safe, low-level currents are sent through the body via hand and foot electrodes that analyze your body. 45 seconds later, you receive a report that breaks down the proportion of muscle, fat, mineral, intracellular water and extracellular water stored throughout your body. Additionally, you receive your visceral fat readings.

InBody 570?
45 SECONDS, NO ESTIMATIONS AND NO TWO RESULTS ARE ALIKE!
Intracellular and Extracellular water:
a key indicator to overall health and wellness
BUT WAIT - WHY DO I ALSO NEED A VISCERAL FAT READING?
For us at Elevate, balance is key. When it comes to your body water and your health, the most important aspect is balance. Unlike car oil, your body water doesn’t need to be replaced every 3 months. Instead, your intracellular water and extracellular water must remain at the same levels with respect to each other. A healthy body water distribution has been estimated at a 3:2 ratio of ICW:ECW. If your body water falls out of balance, this can signal changes in your health and body composition. Whether or not these changes are positive or negative will depend on which type of water becomes unbalanced. Extracellular water is a key element in increased body fat. How? Because an increase in body fat is accompanied by an increase in extracellular water. AKA: body fat lacks adequate amounts of intracellular water. Measuring your water is a key indicator of health and well-being and is usually overlooked. Visceral fat is internal fat that develops in the abdominal cavity, gets stored around the organs, and wraps around your kidneys, intestines, stomach, and liver. It’s really important to be aware of because large amounts of visceral fat have been linked with:
• Increased risk of cardiovascular disease
• High cholesterol
• Insulin resistance, leading to type 2 diabetes
